TWC Wins Patents For Targeted Content, Mesh Networks, IPGs

Tuesday was a big day for inventors at Time Warner Cable, which won three U.S. patents for inventions related to next-generation content delivery.

Former TWC CTO Mike LaJoie is named as inventor on TWC’s patent for “Methods and Apparatus For User-Based Targeted Content Delivery.”

Don Gunasekara is named as lead inventor on a TWC patent titled,”Resource Allocation In A Wireless Mesh Network.” And David McElhatten, a former ActiveVideo executive who is now SVP of Software Solutions at Fox Networks Group, is named as inventor on TWC’s patent application for “Technique For Effectively Accessing Programming Listing Information In An Entertainment Delivery System.” (See image above)
