If you’re heading to the National Association of Broadcasters convention this week, check out the demo of the AltiView3 interactive program guide from technology vendor Alticast.
Alticast, which has built next-gen user interfaces for providers ranging from Canada’s Videotron to South Korea’s KT Corp., recently posted this demo video of AltiView3.
In addition to exhibiting at NAB booth SU11605CM, Alticast North America President John Carlucci is scheduled to speak on Monday at an NAB panel session titled, “How to Build a Compelling User Interface.”
Also worth noting: Carlucci, a former Time Warner Cable chief network architect, is named as an inventor on a patent that was was recently assigned to TWC and Comcast. The invention, “Technique for securely communicating programming content,” was published on Tuesday.
