How VideoAmp Uses Online Behavior to Target TV Ads

Three patent applications published on Thursday detail how Santa Monica, Calif.-based VideoAmp is looking to help media buyers target ads to TV viewers based on their online viewing habits.

VideoAmp COO  Deb Ray, CEO Ross McCray and CTO Dave Gullo are named as inventors on the patent applications, which were filed in July 2016.

The image above is contained in a patent application titled, “Targeting TV advertising slots based on consumer online behavior.” VideoAmp inventions titled, “Cross-screen measurement accuracy in advertising performance,” and “Sequential delivery of advertising content across media devices,” were also published by USPTO on Thursday.
