Domino’s Touts Multiplatform Pizza Ordering

Demonstrating significant progress the industry has seen with t-commerce technology in the last 20 years, Dominos touts five platforms consumers can use to order pizzas in a spot that promotes its “Domino’s Anywere” technology.

In addition to showing an actor ordering a pizza with an app on the Apple Watch, the ad shows stars buying pizza via Twitter, text message, connected car, and with a television remote control.

As analyst Gary Arlen notes in Multichannel News, pizza drove the first commercial t-commerce deployments in the United States, including a product Time Warner Cable’s Oceanic system debuted in the mid 1990s.
