CenturyLink Buys Technicolor Gigabit Routers

French hardware manufacturer Technicolor is building a new line of Wi-Fi routers for cable overbuilder CenturyLink that are capable of delivering gigabit Internet service, according to a document obtained by The Donohue Report. 

The 802.11n Wi-Fi router, model number C1100T, recently passed emission tests at the FCC. It contains a gigabit switch from Broadcom, along with components from Samsung.
