About The Donohue Report
The Donohue Report is an on online magazine covering disruptive video, broadband and connected home technology.
Our mission is be a community publication for readers who hold positions ranging from software developer to CEO, and to connect multiple industries. The Donohue Report reaches pay TV distributors, content owners and networks, media buyers, technology vendors, and broadband, over-the-top and managed service providers.
We cover an industry challenged by rising programming costs. Our solution is to deliver stories that detail how advanced advertising technology can drive increased revenue for both programmers and distributors, and allow consumers to access content on any screen.
The Donohue Report founder Steve Donohue has covered next-generation video and broadband technology as a reporter and editor for several major trade publications, including FierceCable, Multichannel News, Electronic Media, CableFAX Daily and Internet Week.
Donohue, who attended the CTAM U executive management program at Harvard Business School in 2001, has been breaking stories about interactive television and broadband technology since 1996.
Donohue founded The Donohue Report in 2014, after witnessing several developments that left him convinced the industry he has covered for nearly two decades was poised to go through a major transformation. TDR is the first B2B publication built to cover the emergence of virtual, or over-the-top multichannel video programming distributors, and disruptive technology such as LTE broadcast.
Our beats include product development, next-generation program guides, user interfaces and customer premise equipment; wireless and wired broadband technology; and new products and services that can be delivered to connected homes, including telehealth.
TDR publishes a weekly electronic newsletter that contains links to articles in our online magazine. We also post articles daily that contain analysis of breaking news stories.
